How PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG Ally) uses AI

KRAFTON calls PUBG Ally a co-playable character rather than an NPC. It ran in public beta in PUBG Arcade Mode from 17 to 30 June 2026. It uses NVIDIA ACE on-device components: speech recognition, the Mistral-NeMo-Minitron-2B small language model and text-to-speech, plus KRAFTON’s own agent harness. Running locally keeps response timing predictable without cloud round-trips.
